Homunculus Questions

Lately, I have been contemplating on whether or not I should make a Creator. Because, quite frankly, I dont know much about the humunculus.
So, I have a few questions, that I am sure someone can answer.

First off, how does it work with there being more than one type of Humunculus? Do they "evolve" into the next type at a certain level?

Secondly, how does it work when it comes to either leveling your Creator or Humunculus? Like, can you share EXP with the Humunculus, or use it  as a tank?

you have to evolve the homun with a stone of sage once its intimacy reaches loyal pretty much

as for the exp, the homun will take all the job exp, but last time i asked someone told me that the homun's exp gain wasn't based completely on the job exp the monster gives, but im not sure if thats just a rumor or what x3

Ooh, I see.

So, is it possible to use your Homunculus as a tank, to help level your Creator? (i.e. tell the Homunculus to attack a monster, and take the hits, whilst you attack the monster and not take any hits, and still gain experience.)

well depending on your AI you can

but when i usually try and have a homun tank it tends to turn out that the monster stops attacking the homun, and starts attacking me even though its not suppose to change targets

mmm well its like a pet, so you have to treat it like one XD
as for an AI, mirAI tends to be the most popular/useful one

just take care of it and hope tings turn out okay ^^

i never had a homu and can't stop calling them homo xD

okay i just think maybe some guides in the writing section could help you a little, there should be two of them in here just look for them in the titles
