The server, the wiki and the page are in goddamn great shape, you can see the love and technical skill that are poured into them. Playing RO never felt so modern, yet true to form. I say that after coming back to the game after 11 years, so of course, the PServer landscape has changed, but I also say that from my background as a software developer, and the website features and the wiki alone are amazing.

Good server with good community with a few players
a lot of events and a lot of contents
helpful GM and nerds player
sometime its hard to find people to make party for instance, farming etc,,,
strong wiki, needs some guilds to be honest

Server is always down during the weekends. Been playing for 3weeks now and every weekend, the server goes down. Not short downs too, last week took more than 8hours. Community is great though. Economy is also not good. Basically farm geffenia and buy gears

I can understand that you get a very bad first bad impression if you just start on a server and it goes down for an extended time because of unfortunate timing (aka admin is sleeping). That is definitely not the norm here.
We're always working on fixing issues, but sometimes it's unavoidable that issues arise - usually these get fixed quickly to keep downtimes at a minimum.
I hope you are not discouraged by your first few weeks here.

Game is good but the players? not so much, (Some GM's included) If you wanna try some grinding and stuff then this might be the one for you but if youre just a casual player looking to bond with people, don't. Don't do it. People here have their own circle of friends and if youre an outsider you gonne be treated differently. It's mentally exhausting to deal with people here, not only do they have 2 faces they also act like some kind of celebrity. Game itself is good but the people HARD NO.

I thought about it a while now and I'm still missing the correct words to reply to this review. Any place has nice people and less nice people, that's sure. I can't tell though if you just were very unlucky with the people you met. Sometimes certain people / communities simply don't match. I can just hope for you to find more like-minded people wether you continue your journey here other somwhere else.

It's a great a server just not quite what I had hoped. This server hits the nail on the head with QOL features but then falls flat on other obvious QOL.
What stand out are a great client, decent progression system, active development from the team, and a community.
However the lack of @warp, refine materials arguably not as accessible, non-vital quest lines kind of makes you think why? Events are mostly mini games here, personally permanent effect like events are way better, like modern MMOs.

The things you mention as missing are mere design decisions. But at the same time there are alternative ways of achieving the things you were missing. E.g. private airship allows you to warp to unrestricted fields. As for quests, most important ones don't have to be completed more than once - and this system has room to include more quests. Your best shot would be to create a suggestion in our forum.

Overall, I like the server, I played for about a year, but now I have to leave it because my friends turned their backs on me. Thanks to EM Asuki for her gossip. I no longer want to remain silent because she pretends to be a kind girl, taking advantage of the trust of others. I always supported her and went to events, because there were practically no people at her events, and in return I received betrayal and gossip about myself. I hope the admins will not allow such people into the admin staff
