It is a pre-renewal server, low rate. They are growing slowly and stable, the admin is a map-editor and friendly so more promising content may be released later. The players are willing to help each and active Discord. I'm a renewal player and have been here for 3 weeks but really enjoy it. They also have customs item and some features which need to be VIP to access. No pay to win indeed, you can get almost everything by farming. The server launched on 1st March 2024 so population is growing.

This is Nimblestorms 2nd attempt after a HORRIBLE first try,The first time this server launched the admin constantly insulted people in discord DM's, said only autistic people play RO, blamed players for changes as admin they decided to make, took a poll on rates then changed it out of the blue without notice, changed the server from dual client to single client with a 2 warning after people were already established. Nimble would also constantly have mood swings and apologize.I have screenshots

A very balanced classic server. Low rates make a must to play with your friends or make new friends in order to get lv 99, so community is very important. The community is very friendly and most of the times they enjoy to play with new people.

The server is everything an old-school RO player could ask for. IMO Charlie understands very well what made RO good back then and how to improve it while preserving the spirit. Some QoL is often combined with at least a little bit of effort so it doesn't feel hollow like the warper NPC where you need to visit the area first to unlock the warp. The discord is very active and the GM team is always around for questions. The server plays very smooth and has lots of unique twists in balancing. 10/10

the one and only server that I find unique. has lots of ways to keep players grinding. lots of automated events to join on. A couple of unique features to do. instances that will make you enjoy. guild instances/raids for a group/community. PVE or a Social Player? you're sure to enjoy this server. Make Pvp alive? invite your friends so that the community will grow. the seasonal event really generous and can make newbies cope up with veterans in terms of gears.

Best 1/1/1 server ever. Balanced classes. Epic custom content, items, dungeons and cards. GM are understanding and people are nice to each other. Cool quality of life features. Lots of costume hat and exclusive WOE new costume hat dropped from chest unique from the current season. Custom content include new monsters and new dungeons that are BALANCED. Nothing new added to the server is done randomly and they will fix things quickly if something is poorly implemented. Assassin now worth playing.

I'm playing this game for several years and it never disappoint me when it comes to adventure of ragnarok scene. If your looking for a game that brings excitement and thrill when it comes to pvp, your in the right server.

If you have always loved the PvM aspect of RO, Payon Stories is the server for you. The server has modified the EXP table for almost every mob, which balances the HP and difficulty ratio to their exp, making many monsters much more viable as compared to old school RO. I personally love exploring the world and leveling at places regular servers would never travel to due to poor exp and drops. In addition to that, the server has occasional events and costumes to keep everyone busy.

There is no server better than Payon Stories currently. There are very mild edits to it to make the annoyances of classic less annoying. There is an active WoE scene, active MvP scene, and active leveling groups. The only thing I think the GMs could give some love is PvP. It is currently very expensive to be a PvP player, since the rates are low.

This server is promising, from the community itself to the one and only GM, everyone is kind which is what we need nowadays. Pre-re that aims to bring renewal instances for extra enjoyment, of course it will be adjusted to pre-re setup. Everything is organized in game and proxies are being worked on and tested by a lot to ensure smooth play. Y'all should give this server a try.
